张纪元，华南理工大学副教授。博士毕业于澳大利亚墨尔本大学，曾在比利时荷语鲁汶大学从事博士后研究。主要研究领域为：随机矩阵理论、自由概率论等。相关科研成果发表在Adv Math、AiHP(Prob & Stat)、JMVA、Construct Approx等国际期刊。
报告摘要：
I will introduce some recent developments in the Markov-Krein correspondence. This is a defining identity for probability measures, which plays a central role in many problems around random matrix theory, including high-temperature convolution, high-temperature beta ensemble and finite free convolution.
